s you might already know I spent the weekend in Monterey, on the 2009 wine escapes tour. Chef Bunyan Fortune chef at the La Playa Hote located on Camino Real at Eighth Ave. Carmel put together the best Macaroni & Cheese I have ever tasted.
Day Three: Monterey & Carmel “ Grand Tasting”

Day Three at the Great Escapes Monterey & Carmel 2009 event was spectacular. The Grand Tasting was a wine tasters heaven. There were forty wineries and dozens of chefs sharing there creations. The atmosphere was really electric; people were excited about having the opportunity to sample some of the best that the Monterey wine country has to offer.
Day Two: Monterey & Carmel “Evening”

Last night we finished up the days events around 9:30 PM but not before a splendid evening with friends at the new Pierce Ranch Vineyards tasting room in in Monterey. Pierce Ranch Vineyards is a small, family-owned operation perched in a highland valley at the southernmost tip of Monterey County.
Day Two In Monterey & Carmel “ Morning”
